Overview
The Coursedog platform allows for the scheduling of exams within the Event Scheduling system. Scheduling an exam in Events entails three overarching steps:
- Creating an "Exam Event Type".
- Creating a form for the event.
- Adding exams.

Creating an Exam Event Type
PATH: Events > Settings > Event Types
Step One: Select "+ Add Event Type"
Step Two: Input a name, e.g. "Exam Event", and description.
Step Three: Select a color (this indicates what color your event will appear as on your calendar).
Step Four: Click "Add New Event Type".

Once you create the event type, you can create a form for that event. The form can be used to assign custom fields just to exam events:

Adding Exams
- Inside the Event dashboard, you can add exam events directly, or require your users to go through a workflow.
- On the "Events Page", there is a "+ New Event" button at the top.

Viewing Exams
Once exam events are added, they will show up in the event list and the calendar:

Additional Note
- When scheduling any events, the Coursedog system will automatically check for any double bookings with scheduled academic classes.
