Each Syllabus Group contains one template. That template is the basis for all Forms and Syllabi in that Syllabus Group.
When a new Form is created, it begins with the fields and structure of the template. The final Syllabi are created from those forms, so templates are the foundation for any syllabi created in Syllabus.
In cases where each Syllabus Group corresponds to one Academic Year, the template is the default, institution-wide syllabus. Departments, Programs, and Colleges will build their Forms from that Template.
